It feels like a weight has been lifted for all examinees of both Professional and Sub-professional level in the recent Civil Service Exam – Pen and Paper Test last October 23, 2016 held at Dela Salle John Bosco College, Mangagoy, Bislig City. Everyone is still fussing over and had not moved on yet at the fact that the exam is finally over. Out of 1, 307 applicants, only 1,249 actually took the exam for the Professional level that lasted for about 3 hours. On the other hand, for Sub-professional level, only 159 bravely took the pen out of 169 who applied for the exam that lasted for 2 and a half hours. The exam was spearheaded by the Civil Service Provincial Field Office Director Ruth C. Beniga in collaboration with the Department of Education Teachers, National Government Agencies and most especially the Local Government Unit of Bislig who served as the examiners and proctors during the examination proper.
In cooperation of the Local Government Unit of Bislig through our City Mayor, Bislig City was the host city for the October 2016 Civil Service Exam. For the reason that it is convenient for the Bisliganons and other neighboring municipalities and also accessible for nearby areas. Applicants were thankful enough for the cause.
So now, the wait for the exam results has begun which would be released after 45 working days. Everyone is anxious to know their marks and are expectant that their names will be on the list of passers. The dreaded days are yet to come and waiting is distressing. Let’s hope for the best. May God bless us all!
