DOH- Caraga and City Health Office (CHO) Bislig City reported first two (2) confirmed Covid-19 cases in Bislig City on June 20, 2020; and two (2) new cases on June 22, 2020, bringing the total number of cases to four (4), distributed as follows:

• These four (4) confirmed Covid-19 cases have undergone the following:

  • • all tested positive in rapid tests;

    • all tested positive in RT-PCR confirmatory tests;

    • under strict monitoring in isolation facility/hospital.

• Contact tracing and containment measures are currently being undertaken.

• Family members and close contacts of confirmed Covid-19 patients are under strict monitoring in city's quarantine facilities.

REMINDERS:

• Situation is now under control and NO CAUSE of PANIC or ALARM to the public.

• Bisliganons are advised to religiously follow the minimum health protocols set by the city government and medical experts, and unless necessary to go out, STAY AT HOME.

LGU IN ACTION:

• Secure isolation facilities for Covid-19 RT-PCR confirmed patients.

• Secure quarantine facilities for families and closed contacts of confirmed Covid-19 patients for the containment and prevention of further C19 virus transmission/ exposure.

• Provide medical and other related interventions.

• Conduct contact tracing as to exposure of confirmed patients and family.

• Coordinate closely with concerned DOH Provincial & Regional health professionals for any medical interventions.
