COVID- 19

PROCLAMATION 922, AS ISSUED BY PRES. DUTERTE DECLARING A STATE OF PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY TO TAKE EFFECT UNTIL WITHDRAWN BY THE PRESIDENT. DOH ISSUED ALERT LEVEL 4, CODE RED FOR COVID- 19.

GUIDELINES FOR BISLIG CITY

AS OF MARCH 11, 2020

  • Temporary cancellation of flag ceremonies and retreats;

  • All are instructed to clean and disinfect their offices, personal spaces and public areas. Disinfecting frequently touched surfaces is mandated.

  • Employees are banned from receiving personal visitors. Only individuals who have transactions with the government is allowed.

  • Ensure that hand sanitizers and alcohol are available to the public. Employees should practice regular hand washing using soap and water.

  • Employees who have flu-like symptoms should stay at home and have themselves checked by a doctor. They should secure a medical certificate before reporting back to work.

  • Sharing of food and using public utensils are prohibited. All are required to use their own dining wares.

  • All Araw ng Barangay celebrations shall be cancelled or postponed until the public health emergency is lifted or withdrawn.

  • Personal transactions are prohibited. Clients are required to make phone calls for follow-ups.

  • Heads of offices should apply paperless communication.

  • All personal foreign travels, “Lakbay-Aral” visits to/from Bislig City are hereby postponed until further notice from the public health.

  • Trips of social services institutions are hereby suspended until further notice.

  • The City Health Office (CHO) is hereby ordered to conduct misting disinfection in public areas and government offices.

  • All barangays are mandated to activate their emergency health response teams for support to the CHO.

  • Private organizations or businesses are encouraged to postpone non-essential mass celebrations, gatherings.

  • All restaurants, hotels resorts, are encouraged to allow their clients to re-schedule events without additional charges or penalties.

  • All private and public places or facilities should have daily disinfection protocols for frequently touched surfaces.

  • Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is mandated to ensure that the price freeze is implemented and ensure that illegal acts of price manipulation shall be reported for cancellation of business permit.

  • Department of Health (DOH) is mandated to instruct all the LGU health officers with a common protocol.
